NFL Week 12 Recap – Turkey, Yams and Quarterback Stuffing.

Happy Holidays to you and yours out there. Week 12 jumped off on Thursday with 3 games to go with the food that folks would be feasting upon. The first contest showcased the forever surging Green Bay Packers defeating the Detroit Lions, 27-15. What overshadowed the game was the actions of the Lions defensive player Ndamukong Suh, who got into a scuffle with a Packers offensive linemen and tried to stomp on his arm. There are reports floating around that he’ll be suspended a few games for his actions. The second game had the Dallas Cowboys escaping with a 20-19 win over the Miami Dolphins. The night cap was the Baltimore Ravens defeating the San Francisco 49ers, 16-6 in which Terrell Suggs racked up 3 of the Ravens franchise tying 9 sacks. Ball So Hard University indeed.

So then Sunday, it was just a boring day. The early game on CBS was the Bengals/Browns were the Bengals won 23-20. The duo of Andy Dalton and A.J. Green is going to have Cincy fans forgetting about Palmer/Ocho Cinco. It seems as if no fucks were given about Mark Sanchez 4 TD passes as the Jets squeaked out a 28-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills. And this game was highlighted by Stevie Johnson’s imitation of Plaxico Burress’ nightclub incident where he shot himself in the leg. Very poor judgement call. Tim Tebow continues to make Skip Bayless look like an intelligent man as he led the Broncos to a 16-13 overtime win over the Chargers.

Well if the Ravens can buckle up and win out these last five weeks, we should be in great shape for the #1 seed in the playoffs. The remaining games are @CLE, IND, @SD, CLE and @CIN. So I’m going to be rooting my squad on as we make this playoff push.

Fantasy Football
I don’t even want to talk about this week. Disgraceful.

Other notes:

– Sucks that Matt Leinhart got hurt in his first game for the Houston Texans. That puts a damper in their playoff hopes.

– The Chiefs had opportunities to put the Steelers away but they dropped the ball. Pun intended.

– I’m afraid when the Colts come to town on Dec. 4th. Remember how the Dolphins when 1-15 a few years back? Yeah guess who there only win was against? -__-
