Midweek Thoughts 2/26/14

Wednesday… Five Thoughts.

1. The NFL and the Ban Of The N-Word On The Field: The NFL is looking to ban the use of the word ‘nigga’ on the playing field. The thing that gets my head scratching is why? It’s not like we can hear anyone saying it on the field. The fact that ESPN had a special on this topic on Sunday is just… confusing and a huge flop when there are no flags for this penalty.

2. WWE Network Problems: The WWE Network went live Monday morning and while it was playing smoothly in some areas, there were problems with the initial launch. Xbox 360 issues, streaming issues and signing up issues were just a few of them. Hopefully things will be squared away in the coming weeks. I want to watch some old ECW PPVs.

3. Thicke, Patton Residing In Splitsville: In a line that isn’t so blurred, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are calling it quits. Eight years. Eh… so much for better or for worse.

4. Scandal Returns: After the winter finale and The Olympics, Scandal returns tomorrow night. Quinn FTW!!!!

5. Six Days Until 34: So many lessons learned. Many highs and lows. I’ll have a post ready for it.
